Sophie Dupin is a songwriter who has written music and lyrics for stage productions, films and commercials and has also developed and written for various pop artists.

The latest reading of her musical theater production called PopStar featured a noteworthy cast including: Sydney James Harcourt (Hamilton, Girl from North Country), Roman Banks (Dear Evan Hansen), Kalyn West (The Prom), Sally Wilfert (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee Tour), Ashley D. Kelley (Eve’s Song) and musical director Dominick Amendum (Wicked).

Under the stage name Brix, Dupin sang backup vocals for the band Passion Pit on Saturday Night Live, and her cover of Gwen Stefani’s “Just A Girl” was featured in the official trailer for Disney’s The Nutcracker and The Four Realms. Her music can also be heard in the films Manhattan Nocturne and Trust, the television series Charmed and in campaigns for notable brands such as Crayola, Febreze and Pandora. 

Her vocals and songwriting were featured on Cole Plante’s “Before I’m Yours,” a Disney/Hollywood Records’ release that topped the Billboard Dance Charts. Other songwriting credits include viral sensation Kimberly Henderson’s “Tiny Hearts,” which received national press and was performed on The Steve Harvey Show. Additionally, Dupin helped develop the singer LOREN, labeled by SPIN Magazine as an “Artist to Watch.” She has also worked as a judge for The X Factor and music scout for America’s Got Talent
